Topic is "Speakers for Senior High Camp," question is, "Who is speaking at Senior High camp this summer?"

Speaker Guy Tim!

It should come as no surprise to those of you who regularly attend our week of Senior High camp that Speaker Guy Tim (Atkins) will be speaking again this summer!  Tim is from Bluffton, Indiana and two and a half years ago, he started a non-denominational church called "The Fountain."  Before pastoring at "The Fountain," Tim worked as a Campus Life Director with Youth for Christ.  This upcoming summer will be Tim's 10th summer speaking at Portage Lake!  Campers can look forward to Tim's usual entertaining and humorous antics, including but not limited to: Trivia, dismissing cabins with creative phrases using alliteration, the "spy guy" story, random dollar store prizes and much, much more!  Parents can be assured that your child will be poured into spritually by an experienced and gifted speaker (and father) as well as a trained and passionate staff.

Junior High camp offers campers more options than Trailblazer camp and is an excellent continuing experience for Trailblazer graduates.  Look forward to more free time, canoe trips off-site, the high ropes course, Cool Beans and even more candy!

The speaker for Junior High 1 is Randy Boerema.  Randy worked at camp many moons ago and was the youth pastor at Mason County Reformed for several years.  Recently, Randy helped found Antioch, a series of house churches throughout the Mason County area.  Randy spoke at camp for the Manistee Area Senior High Whiteout Retreat over Valentine's Day weekend and was the highlight for many of our campers!  With messages designed to engage students in their walk with Christ, Randy is sure to help your child grow closer to Christ!  Click here to visit Anitoch's website.

The speaker for Junior High 2 is Whitney Hall.  Whitney has been co-pastor of Covenant Congregational Church in North Easton, Massachusetts for two years.  She is a graduate of Gordon College and North Park Seminary. Whitney has served a youth pastor, gone on mission trips all over the world, been a speaker at youth retreats and camps across the country, and worked with the Sustaining Pastoral Excellence program of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Chicago.

June 27-July 3 **Senior High (9th-12th Grade)**     $320

July 18-24 **Junior High 1 (7th-9th Grade)**    $315

August 8-14     **Junior High 2 (7th-9th Grade)**     $315

Grade is based on the grade the camper will enter in fall of 2010.

If camp receives your full payment by March 15th, $10 will be taken off the total charge for the camp session (no discount for Pathfinders).
