Speaker:Lindsay Small

Lindsay is a mother, pastor, and disciple of Jesus Christ.  She has her M.Div. from North Park Seminary and is an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Covenant Church, having served churches in Sweden, Chicago & Minnesota.  She is currently co-pastor with husband Kyle at Harbert Community Church.  Lindsay also serves on the Executive Board of the Evangelical Covenant Church as a chair of the Covenant World Mission Board.

More than anything she believes she is at her best in her bi-vocational role as pastor and mother to Micah (4) and Madeline (3).  Lindsay and Kyle are expecting their third child in May.  Despite the craziness of dishes, diapers and divine details, Lindsay is most alive in Christ at the intersection of motherhood and pastor.  One inspires the other and the two together create a passion for God's world.

Topic: "No Comparisons Needed"redboots

Women live unique lives in public and private spaces.  We work, we marry, we stay single, we parent.  The joys and labors of our lives abound.  The challenge is for all of us to stop comparing our private lives to everyone else's public lives.  The game of comparison is as old as the oldest Scriptures.  Join us for Breathe and take a breath from the world of comparison as we explore three holy women who found themselves socially judged yet faithfully formed.  Come and discover that God has already created you to be who you are- no comparisons needed.
