We are looking for strong, Christian leaders who are ready to serve campers of all ages! From counseling to ropes facilitator,kitchen to maitenance, skate park to the waterfront, there are many summer staffing opportunities at Portage Lake. Our S.W.I.M. team program stands for Students Working In Ministry. It is a 5 week discipleship program to give high school students a taste of what it is like to work at camp as well as encourage spiritual growth. Members of S.W.I.M. team will be mentored by 2 S.W.I.M. team directors. Our S.W.I.M. program is a voulunteer program, so participants will not be paid. Each S.W.I.M. participant will pay $200 which covers food, housing, and the salary of the S.W.I.M. directors.

Application Information
Begin to pray! Pray about where God may be leading you to serve this summer, whether it be at Portage Lake or another location. Pray about which position God may want you to fill at Portage Lake. Pray for other staff members and applicants. And pray for the campers who will come to Portage Lake this year.
Please fill your application out neatly! You want to make a good first impression and how you fill out your application is a reflection of you! So do a good job!
Once you've completed your application, mail it in ASAP! Hiring will begin as soon as applications are turned in, so don't wait! Apply today!
Please have your reference forms mailed in seperately! It is your responsiblity to get your reference forms into the hands of the right people. Just like with college applications, please have your reference person send the forms in themselves. To encourage them to send in your reference forms right away, consider providing them with a stamped envelope addressed to camp. Please note that your application WILL NOT be processed until we have received all of your references.
