2011 Golf Outing

It's that time of year again, when Portage Lake calls on you to help scholarship kids for summer camps. We have many, many requests for financial help each year to enable kids to be able to come to camp. We have been blessed at past golf outings with very generous golfers and sponsors who give so that every kid can be a camper. The golf outing has raised about $176,000 for camper scholarships in the last 14 years.
The event will be held at "The Highlands Golf Club" (www.highlandsGR.com) on June 4th, with a shot gun tee-off at 8:00 a.m. and a dinner following catered by Outback Steakhouse!
Golf Participant: Donation of $150 (extra donations gladly accepted!). Includes 18 holes of golf with cart, free range balls and a fantastic banquet.
Hole Sponsor: Donation of $250 per hole. A sign will be placed on the course designating your name, place of business or a favorite Scripture verse, etc.
Prize Donations: Donate items that can be used for prizes. Items can include gift certificates, golf equipment or clothing, sports memorabilia, etc...whatever you can come up with!
Invite a Friend: This year, why not invite a friend to play golf, support camp and meet others from throughout the state? Let's have a complete field of players!
This gathering is a scramble event, set up to increase the fun and make the outing enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. Even if you don't golf, please consider joining us for the meal. Come for fellowship, come to golf or come to hear about camp. Whatever the reason, come for the ministry!
